I thought I might have more luck on here, after all it is a simple question/answr from someone who has used these but looks like just more of just the usual smart ass comments instead of a simple answer to the question asked. YES, I have asked one of the vendors for chamber volume but you know how that goes, I am waiting for a reply. no problems #parrotsĪsk whoever you buy from to tell you the volume.įunny, I did some research on this brand on the Samba and read good things, including these castings were sold and used by some reputable builders. I have installed these on at least 10 engines over the last 5 years that are driven daily. ![]() The LAST place I would try and save money is on the cylinder heads.įunny. Why not proven AA heads or Mofoco? Cylinder heads aren't exactly the best place to be buying bottom of the barrel to save a few bucks. Hopefully their valves seal better then the seals in the master cylinder I had. Not sure about the volume, but if they are anything like most of the other OE brand parts, they might make a decent doorstop. If anyone has measured a and has the info please let me know. I have done search on net and samba with no luck finding this info. I was curious what the stock chamber volume CCs is on these heads before I make a decision. My plan is to keep stock bottom end, no fly cutting pistons, no re-rings, nada. working on a budget and don't have the $$ for a stroker motor or jumping to a 351 based build. Have a stock long block 302 w roughly 80,000 miles on it in an 88 (Speed density) Mustang, looking to make a little more steam. Have been doing a lot of reading online ( there is a lengthly thread in TOBT on fast stock block 302) and I apologize if this is something thats been beat to death here, but heres the question.
